Rokka is a village and seat of the homonymous community of the municipality of Kissamos in the regional unit of Chania, Crete. It is 35 kilometers from Chania. The village is built at the foot of a steep limestone hill called Trouli,in the Minoan era. The limestone hill dominates the plain that reaches to the Gulf of Kissamos. On the hill was the Byzantine fortress of Rokka, from which the village took its name. East of the village and the hill passes the Rokkas gorge.
